Morgan’s Surprise by Jayne Rylon

Blurb:

For a tasty birthday treat, add four men and stir.

Note to self: When confessing a crush on an ultra-hot construction worker to your best friend, make sure he’s not standing right behind you.

If Morgan thought spilling the beans on her lust for Joe would scare him off, she couldn’t have been more wrong. Following her birthday wish gone awry, the hunk is treating her to one surprise after another. From little things that make her smile to lavish, romantic dates, Joe is turning out to be the stuff of dreams

Joe’s attentions to the sexy pastry shop owner begin as lighthearted fun. Until he finds out about the past that, until now, has made her keep him at arm’s length. Determined to show her seeking pleasure is no crime, he sets out to fulfill her steamiest fantasies—with a little help from three of his best friends.

After a four-course birthday adventure, which presents Morgan as the sweetest imaginable dessert, she expects Joe to walk away. But now that Joe’s brought Morgan out of her shell, he’s hungry for something he never expected to crave—a forever kind of love.

Review:

Every wish you were the center of attention with a room full of host construction workers?  Well although some of us can’t live that fantasy why not live vicariously through one hell of a book from Jayne Rylon.  Her construction workers are amongst some of the hottest men I have ever read.  openness and just the sheer want to please one another make them many womans wet dream and even some men out there too ;0).
Its no secret that I am a big lover of Jaynes work.  Whenever something new comes out from her I try my best to get my hands on it as soon as possible.  Jayne is the queen of steamy sex scenes who put a unique spin to every new collaboration between bodies that you will never get enough of.
Gotta admit I think I like this book better than the first one.  Morgan makes a great leading lady that can corral the rowdy Joe.  The way that she is just so open with her feelings is both refreshing and utterly mystifying.  If I was in the girls predicament I would clam up and never say a word again.  Plus she holds the attention of all men around her which makes her just that much more appealing.
Joe is just a great guy with a great down to earth personality.  Saying what he means and meaning what he says make him even more appealing to my eye but also just the description of him is enough to make a girl swoon.  And yet again I am mystified at the closeness he has with not only Morgan but also the crew.
Now I am going to give Jayne props for the cake scene.  I will never look at a cake the same way again, wow was that scene just the yummiest thing I have ever read.
I highly recommend this book.  But make sure you read the first one to because…..well hello HOT MEN need I say more ;0).
