Review:

After a year of torture the only thing Kryiana can think to do is confront the man at the root of her binding and hope he ends her torment whether by death or by understanding.  Kryiana was the right mix of strong willful woman and submissive.  One of the things I liked most about her was the ability to be one way in the bedroom but still be herself out of it no matter how dominating Connul could be at times.  This woman had a heart of gold that could be clearly seen through the love of her family and the sacrifices she was willing to make to keep Connul from the evil dogging his tail.

A spy shows up in his house but after setting eyes on her the only thing Connul can find himself thinking about is just how good this woman would look tied to his bed.  A Dom by nature it was really hard for Connul to let go of the domineering tendences which got him in trouble more than once but made him an excellent read.  I have to say the way he first treats Kyr, even though she is a stranger, was simply great I loved how he took the time to actually find out what was wrong before possibly hurting someone innocent.  While there were times when I wanted to reach through the pages and strangle him for some of the stuff he did Connul was a great male lead with a noble streak a mile long and sexual appeal enough to scorch the pages.

I enjoyed reading this story and look forward to reading more from this author.  I highly recommend this book if you like BDSM stories with a little bit of magic thrown in.
