Blurb:
Chad McCray has resisted a relationship for thirty-two years. Can the girl next store change his mind?
Catie Bay has worshiped much older Chad McCray since she was a child. When she fumbles a seduction attempt after her graduation from high school, she flees to Europe. Four years later, she returns a beautiful, worldly woman, and Chad takes notice. Is the rodeo queen still in love with the sexy cowboy, and is he capable of returning her feelings?
Review:
Smooth talking cowboy Chad wants a committed relationship as much as a bullet in the head, that is until Catie comes back to town and shows him just how much he is missing. In the beginning I fell for Chad with his smooth charm and sweet talking and I just couldn’t get enough of his southern draw and mannerisms. There were parts however that I would have loved to have been able to reach through the pages and slap him upside the head and knock some sense into that thick skull of his. But all in all the man did a great job at showing the wonderful man deep down.
Catie escaped to Europe to try like hell to forget her first love, Chad McCray, but when she runs into him the first night coming home sparks fly and she finds herself unable to fight herself any longer. A classy lady I was entranced by how smart and down to earth Catie was throughout the entire book. Sure she was younger the Chad but she went after what she really wanted all her life and I commend her courage in doing so. In the end I felt she got the ending that she deserved and was meant to have.
I really loved this book, even though I didn’t get to read the first ones, I didn’t get lost in the plot lines and I fell in love with all the characters in this book. I highly recommend this book if you love cowboys that aren’t afraid of love and lust.
